I was always busy. And had very little to show for it.
2025 was my lowest revenue year since I founded Boss Lady Dream Builders.
The email list did not grow. The social media following did not grow. The coaching program did not fill. When I sat with that reality at the end of the year, I had to get brutally honest with myself.
I had been busy the entire year.
Always consuming. Always learning. Never executing.
I was enrolled in workshops, listening to podcasts, test-driving coaching programs. There was always something I was absorbing and always a reason the real work had to wait.
I was working hard, but the truth is I was planting the wrong seeds.
You cannot plant watermelon seeds and expect tomatoes. No matter how faithfully you tend them. If the seeds are wrong, the harvest will tell you.
When I got honest, I named what I had actually been planting:
Consuming instead of creating.
Learning without executing.
Chasing shiny objects instead of committing to one thing and working it.
Preparing to prepare.
Waiting for perfect conditions that were never going to arrive.
Every one of those seeds feels like work. They are exhausting. They look productive from the outside.
But they are not the seeds that produce the harvest.
I suspect you have your own version of this.
The thing you know you need to do and keep finding reasons not to. The seed you have been preparing to plant when the timing is better, the confidence arrives, the conditions are right.
There are no perfect conditions.
There is only the decision to plant anyway.
At the end of 2025 I made a decision. Either I was going to do the real work or it was time to cut my losses.
Quitting was not an option.
Sophia is watching.
I committed to consistency, coachability, and limiting my consumption so I could increase my execution. The seeds changed. The harvest is already different.
So I want to ask you something directly.
What seeds are you planting right now today with the hours and the energy and the attention you actually have?
Are they the seeds that will produce the harvest you want?
Because the harvest does not lie.
It will always tell you exactly what you planted.
Don’t lose another minute living as your representative.
